White Wines

Toro is red wine country, and that is precisely what makes its white wines different. At Bodega Latarce we make two, each with its own grape and intention.

Latarce Verdejo spends four months in American oak: it keeps the freshness of Verdejo but gains volume and an unusually creamy base. Gigi is made from Malvasía Castellana, an almost forgotten variety we brought back, aged on its lees: white flowers, stone fruit and a fine acidity.

D.O. Toro whites for aperitifs, fish and rice dishes. Serve between 8 and 10 °C.
