The tradition of winemaking in this part of the Iberian Peninsula goes back to Roman times. They were the ones who truly drove viticulture in the Duero basin, and since then vineyards have covered the land around Toro.

The harsh local conditions produced a native grape that has become one of the most admired in the wine world: Tinta de Toro, the backbone of our flagship wines. Here you will find every D.O. Toro wine we make — reds, whites and a naturally sweet red.
